As Driven Brands franchisees, Meineke and Maaco dealers seize opportunities to work together on behalf of the community. A recent example: Trey Sheridan, a Meineke Dealer in Cumming, Ga., just north of Atlanta, has a daughter, Megan, who suffers from mitochondrial disease, a potentially very debilitating condition for which there are limited treatment options. Trey holds an annual benefit concert to raise money and awareness for the disease. This year, Trey decided to hold a raffle for a 1992 Chevy pickup donated by a customer that was in need of a paint job. At the urging of a Meineke field operations manager, Trey called Maaco operator Tony Meyers in Roswell hoping to get a good price for the work. After hearing what Trey needed and why, Tony generously donated the entire paint job.
