Rajesh (Rick) Jain enjoyed a bit of “celeb” exposure for his Brampton, Ont., grand opening. With host Dave Reddinger on location and co-host John Mitter in studio, the “Neighborhood Mechanic Show” broadcast their Saturday morning 1050 CHUM phone-in show from Rick’s front office. They were live on air for an hour; dozens of promo spots ran for two weeks prior. Dave came loaded with lots of “swag” and gave away a Broil King BBQ to one lucky winner, along with dozens of coupons for car washes and oil changes.
