GM Remarketing compliments Maaco

A bright yellow Penske cube van painted a metallic burgundy by Dan and Maria Chasins (Burton, Mich.) resulted in this email from a Buick-GMC dealer to GM Remarketing Area Manager Rich Stucky:

“Maaco did a very nice job on this van! The customer saw a GMC Acadia and wanted their van the same color. Maaco even did it in metallic as they requested.”

In forwarding the email to the Maaco home office, GM’s Stucky wrote, “I wanted you to see this note from one of our dealers who used your program. We have had a lot of good responses from the dealer group and here’s another one….”

Danny Ray, “the Truck Guy” at Patsy Lou Buick-GMC, liked the price GMC had pre-arranged with Maaco, as well as the quality and turnaround. "We're a dealership and we have a body shop, but it was less than I could get it out of my body shop for,” he said.
