The No. 15 BYU Cougars blew away No. 16 Oregon State with a 44-20 rout in the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas before a sellout crowd at windy Sam Boyd Stadium. "I think we were able to make a statement tonight," Cougars tight end Dennis Pitta said. "I think it's a great win for our program in gaining more national respect. I think it's a great win for our conference (Mountain West) in taking a step forward." MAACO Franchising, Inc., will serve as title sponsor for the annual college postseason game for at least the next two years. “The MAACO Bowl Las Vegas is a powerful venue for MAACO to connect with the passion of college football fans while acknowledging the franchisees who have built the brand to become America's Bodyshop," said Maaco Chairman Ken Walker. "This is a great partnership -- college football, represented by two great conferences, with its unmatched enthusiasm and outstanding teams, and MAACO, represented by nearly 500 franchisees with the drive to be the best in serving the body repair and painting needs of millions of satisfied customers.”
